Sherry Silvers

Sherry is a licensed clinical social worker specializing in individual Psychotherapy to Adults, Emerging Adults and College Students.

​

Sherry received her Master’s of Social Work, graduating from the prominent, Jane Addams School of Social Work at the University of Illinois, Chicago, with highest honors. Her continued career in mental health included implementing the Family Psychoeducation Program at Trilogy Behavioral Healthcare, as well as providing family and group therapy, providing consultation to practitioners on implementation of psychoeducation programs throughout the country, and clinical supervision to paraprofessionals. Sherry later transitioned to private practice where she enhanced her therapeutic techniques providing therapy to people facing diverse mental health, life and relationship issues.

Philosophy of Care

​

Sherry is an empathic, supportive practitioner who values trust, candor, and a sense of humor in treating clients. She sees the therapeutic relationship as collaborative and puts her clients in the role of co-therapist, teaching them the skills and tools they need to address their struggles and obstacles. Sherry assists clients in working towards living a value-driven, meaningful life.
